RN Medical Surgical Pulmonary Renal Unit

Registered Nurse in a Medical-Surgical unit focusing on pulmonary and renal care. Deliver patient-centered nursing care, assess patient status at admission and each shift, perform procedures and administer prescribed medications, document care timely in the medical record, respond to patient needs, and educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and follow-up steps. Full-time role on day shift with 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week). Requires BCLS (or BCLS Instructor within 30 days) and an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. 36-hour workweek, day shift, at LewisGale Medical Center; sign-on bonus offered.
