RN Wound Care

Conduct comprehensive wound care assessments, interpret age-specific data, and independently plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Perform skilled procedures, document skin conditions on progress notes, and encourage patient/family involvement in decision-making. Provide direction to staff members regarding resident wound care and observe team members to assume a resource and clinical education role. Requires Clinical II or III RN status with extensive wound care experience, BLS, ACLS, and certification as a Certified Wound Care Nurse or Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse upon hire.
