Job Summary
Conduct breast surgery procedures, including oncoplastic and hidden scar surgery, alongside ultrasound imaging for inpatient care. Lead the York Cancer Program to shape breast cancer care within a multidisciplinary team comprising oncologists, nurse navigators, and survivorship specialists. Share surgical call responsibilities while avoiding general surgery coverage. Deliver plant-forward nutrition and support group services to patients, utilizing resources from the Hillman Cancer Center and University of Pittsburgh Physicians.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified General Surgeon
- Fellowship training in breast surgery
- Significant experience in breast surgery
- Ultrasound certification
- Ability to offer oncoplastic surgery
- Ability to offer Hidden Scar surgery
