Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving families and providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain professional knowledge of current nursing standards and regulations. Requires an Associate's or BSN degree, Illinois licensure, and AHA CPR certification. Night shift coverage from 7:00pm to 7:30am.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- 24 of those hours must be on weekend time if needed
- 7:00pm - 7:30am (Night shift)
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
