Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing care for patients with respiratory failure, heart failure, and those requiring bi-pap, chest tubes, and titratable IV drips in a 28-bed progressive care unit. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care plans while assigning duties to LPNs and support staff. Lead interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety initiatives and quality improvement projects, providing verbal and written feedback to peers. Maintain a safe environment by resolving patient concerns and documenting all interventions according to hospital policy and physician orders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- CPR certification
- Compliance with Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
- Adherence to applicable federal and state laws, rules, and regulations as well as company policies and training requirements
- Adherence to the company's Code of Business Conduct
