RN - Medical Progressive Care

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Hospitalist Medicine patients in a 24-bed telemetry PCU, focusing on renal diagnoses and chronically ventilated patients. Administer treatments and medications accurately while documenting care in electronic medical records and developing age-specific interdisciplinary plans of care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to reduce length of stay and improve patient outcomes, while serving as a patient advocate and role model for clinical practice. Complete predetermined projects, participate in performance improvement activities, and assist with orientation and education for new employees.
