Job Summary
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessments to optimize outcomes in a physician office setting. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions while collaborating across disciplines for coordination, transfer, discharge, and psychosocial support. Evaluate learning needs of patients and families to provide age and culture-appropriate education. Effectively delegate care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses or new hires. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Full-time, 56-hour days with a starting pay of $32.01 to $49.62 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Any relevant certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing experience
- BLS or CPR card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
- Critical thinking skills
- Decisive judgement
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take appropriate action
- Minimum of 3 days availability
- Onsite role availability
