Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs and clinical status, and intervene promptly when changes occur. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to established standards and provider orders. Coordinate individualized care plans with interdisciplinary partners, supporting patient education, discharge readiness, and chronic disease management. Document assessments, interventions, and communications accurately in the electronic health record to ensure continuity and regulatory compliance. Support safe delegation to LPNs, CNAs, and other team members while maintaining accountability for overall patient care. Participate in unit-based quality and safety initiatives to drive continual improvement in patient outcomes. Requires current or temporary RN license in North Dakota or compact licensure, BLS certification, and physical ability to assist with patient mobility and transfers. Functions within a fast-paced acute care environment with routine exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids.
