Job Summary
Deliver nursing care to patients in the Medical ICU while utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with healthcare providers. Maintain accountability for professional development within the legal scope of practice and act as a patient advocate by delegating care and participating in performance improvement activities. Ensure care delivery aligns with Kettering Health's mission and values. Requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS/NRP/PALS training; two years of ICU experience is required. Full-time night shift position at Kettering Health Dayton.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
- 2 years ICU experience required
