Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Medical ICU, supervising assigned staff and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Collects and analyzes assessment data to diagnose conditions, develops care plans, and implements interventions to promote a safe environment. Collaborates with patients, families, and providers to deliver humane care, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning for continuity. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS, and NIHSS certification. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Castle in Kailua.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Acknowledgement of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
