Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. Assess patients' conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to fulfill unit goals. Requires minimum three years of RN critical care experience, current Illinois licensure, and ACLS certification within six months. Full-time role (30 hours/week) from 7:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties with eight acute care hospitals recognized as Magnet facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of RN critical care experience
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association BLS
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position
- Full time, 30 hours/week
- 7:00am-7:30pm (Day shift) with rotating weekends and holidays
