RN- Medical Floor, Weekend Option Nights

Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients on the medical floor while maintaining professional accountability. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing all duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Complete required Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with a weekend option incentive of $20/hour and available sign-on bonuses for experienced or new graduate nurses.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Previous hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
Desired Qualifications

- Additional state licensure or specialty certifications
- Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
