Job Summary
Provide patient care on the medical floor using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld in accordance with Mercy Service Standards. Perform duties consistent with the organization's mission and values. This full-time role includes a 36-hour week with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a weekend option incentive of $20/hour. Candidates must hold a current Missouri RN license, a BSN or ADN, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Previous hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
- Availability for Nights shift (7:00PM - 7:00AM)
- Availability for Weekend Option
