Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients on the medical floor while maintaining professional accountability. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information in accordance with Mercy Service Standards. This full-time night shift role includes a 36-hour weekly schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a weekend option differential of $20/hour. Experienced nurses may qualify for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Previous hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
Desired Qualifications

- Additional state licensure
- Specialty certifications
- Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
