Job Summary

Coordinate clinic duties and supervise medical staff at designated sites, ensuring all documentation meets federal, state, and Compass Connections guidelines. Validate completion of clinic tasks through daily portal audits, generate and correct medical records, and monitor health care plans for the service population. Administer vaccines and medications, assist with procedures, and provide patient teaching while maintaining strict confidentiality of Protected Health Information. Direct training for medical personnel, schedule appointments, and serve as a liaison for community providers, ensuring appropriate interpretation services are available. Respond to abuse, neglect, and exploitation by implementing professional reporting procedures and maintain emergency evacuation protocols. Work 12-hour rotating shifts with a salary of $43.86, requiring fluency in Spanish and English, current RN licensure, and a minimum of one year in public health or healthcare.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state program is located
  • Current BLS certifications
  • First aid
  • CPR
  • Minimum of one (1) year employment experience in public health or a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated experience in care coordination
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals
  • Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times
  • Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
  • Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures
  • Provide current physical-medical release
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for MMR
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for Varicella
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for HepB
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for HepA
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for Tetanus
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for PPD
  • Provide proof of immunizations, titers, or exemptions for Meningococcal
  • Receive an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a medical or religious accommodation
  • Must be able to perform physical activity such as extensive walking, lifting of patients, stretching, and bending
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to maintain professional people skills, oral, written, listening, and non-verbal communication skills
  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • PALS preferred
  • Pediatric nursing experience
  • Meningococcal (preferred)
