Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients on a busy medical telemetry unit with an average daily census of 24, participating in patient and family teaching while working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Provide leadership by maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within the assigned unit under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee. Work the evening and night shift from 7:15pm to 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation, including every other weekend and holiday rotation. This role is part of Southcoast Health's comprehensive healthcare system in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, offering a culture of well-being and professional growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
