Job Summary
RN on Med/Surg Telemetry unit (4G) at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. 36-hour weekly night shift with a strong emphasis on accurate documentation, medication administration, monitoring patient conditions, and collaboration with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Requires Associate's Degree in Nursing (or Bachelor's preferred) and an RN license; BLS is required with ACLS preferred and NRP/PALS preferred. Sign-on bonus of $5,000 available (current WDH RNs not eligible). Opportunity to work on a busy 32-38 bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit with favorable nurse-to-patient ratios and dedicated clinical leadership. The role is onsite at 789 Central Avenue, Dover, NH. The pay range reflects base compensation for nights and includes potential differential as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
- Licenses: Registered Nurse license (RN)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS required or preferred; NRP and PALS preferred
- Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
- Knowledge/Skills: Familiarity with nursing care principles, medical terminology, patient confidentiality, communication, triage of acute patients
