Job Summary
Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Collaborates within organizational policies, coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff, and maintains standards of practice. Sign-on bonus available and role located in Piedmont Cartersville, GA, caring for Med Surg patients. Requires GA RN licensure and BCLS; various units require ACLS/PALS NRPs and specialty certifications within specified orientation periods.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program (Required)
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
- ACLS Certification (Required within 180 days)
- PALS Certification (as applicable per unit) within 180 days
- Pediatrics: NRP/PEARS or PALS as applicable within 180 days
- Womens Services: NRP by orientation period / NICU/NAT by 180 days
- Dialysis: CDN preferred
- Infusion/Oncology: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification prior to independent administration Upon Hire
- Surgical Services: ACLS; PALS as applicable within 180 days
- Emergency Department: ACLS and PALS within 180 days
- General: Graduate nursing program and state licensure
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is Preferred
- ACLS Certification within 6 months
- PALS Certification within 6 months
- BCLS/Basic Life Support
- RN licensure in Georgia (and NLC/eNCL if applicable)
