RN - Med Surg Vascular ENT - Nights

Assess, manage, and direct nursing care for patients in Med Surg, Vascular, and ENT units, including comprehensive admission and transfer assessments, post-operative evaluations, and discharge planning. Develop and evaluate individualized care plans incorporating evidence-based practices, disease-specific protocols, and patient-driven goals while administering medications, managing IV fluids, and coordinating with the health team. Provide specialized care for high-risk patients, including pain management, restraint alternatives, and abuse assessment, while maintaining strict infection control and safety standards. Document all interventions, monitor patient status, and communicate changes immediately to physicians. Collaborate with colleagues, mentor new staff, and participate in unit committees to drive performance improvement and quality initiatives.
