Job Summary
Interpret medical care plans, assess patient clinical decisions, and provide individualized nursing care while ensuring safety and competence. Maintain accurate reports and records, administer medications, and monitor patients for reactions or side effects. Record vital signs, report symptoms or condition changes, and consult with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Modify treatment plans based on patient responses. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and ACLS (preferred), with rotating shifts and per diem pay ranging from $32.29 to $62.57/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
