Job Summary
RN - Med Surg & Telemetry at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital provides direct nursing care to adults 18+, delivering and coordinating care across med/surg and telemetry units. Responsibilities include implementing, monitoring, evaluating, updating and revising patient care plans; administering prescribed medications and treatments; documenting patient conditions; carrying out physician and nursing orders; assessing and coordinating discharge needs; and educating patients and families. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods, ability to lift 20-50 lbs occasionally and 10-25 lbs frequently, and flexibility to work a 7:30am-7:30pm schedule with rotating weekends/holidays. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- ACLS Certification (through AHA) must be presented upon hire or within first year of hire if in a Critical Care area
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
