Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with multi-system issues in a safe, therapeutic environment. Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment to interpret patient status and identify age-specific needs. Develops, evaluates, and revises patient care plans while documenting progress toward desired outcomes. Administers medications, provides direct patient care, and teaches patients and families about discharge planning or procedures. Leads the health care team, directs supervision of nursing assistants, and manages time and resources to deliver care. Requires current New Hampshire RN license, BLS certification, and night shifts in Med Surg/Tele roles. Required Qualifications
- Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification, or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- BSN preferred
