RN Med Surg Tele

RN Med Surg Tele responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the department and specialty standards. Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive care, following nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. Act as advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition on admission and during shifts, performing procedures and charting in the medical record, administering medications and monitoring responses, addressing patient requests, and educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. The role uses SPOT technology for early sepsis detection and participates in the Enhanced Surgical Recovery program to reduce opioid use and readmissions, contributing to stroke response initiatives and overall care quality.
