Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients on Moran 3, a 20-bed ICU step-down unit specializing in pulmonary care and chronic pulmonary diseases, while managing a fast-paced 10-bed observation unit for cardiac and neurological rule-out patients. Provide patient and family teaching, lead ancillary nursing and patient team personnel to maintain professional standards, and manage care for patients with multiple comorbidities including DKA, chronic trach, a-fib, COPD, and stroke. Work evening/night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am) with weekend and holiday rotation, every other weekend and holiday, under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
