Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Med/Surg and Special Care Unit (Med/Surg/SCU) responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, direct, administer and evaluate evidence-based patient care; coordinates interdisciplinary screenings, formulates and adjusts care plans, educates patients/family, administers medications including IV therapy, monitors telemetry and identifies arrhythmias, documents thoroughly, ensures patient safety, supervises CNAs, and participates in performance improvement activities. Requires IL RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and PALS within 2 years. Two years RN experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
Required Qualifications

- ACLS Certification required within 12 months of hire
- PALS certification required within 2 years of hire
