RN Med Surg

Conduct observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for patients on a 24-bed Med-Surg unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed practitioners, while providing health teaching, counseling, and promoting wellness. Maintain current Florida State Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, and experience in an acute care setting. Work 24-hour shifts including night and day rotations, lifting objects up to 50 lbs with frequent handling of items weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires critical thinking, strong interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency in reading written and verbal instructions.
