RN - Med/Surg - R4 (Inpatient)

Assess patients upon admission, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions while modifying plans based on continuous evaluation. Perform hourly rounding, administer medications adhering to the five rights, and document all assessments and vital signs per Carle Med/Surg standards. Delegate tasks to HCTs, validate completion, and ensure compliance with safety protocols including fall precautions, isolation measures, and ambulation safety. Manage time to facilitate quick admission and discharge for observation status patients, coordinate interdisciplinary communication, and respond promptly to patient call lights. Requires Illinois RN license, BLS certification, and college diploma in nursing.
