Job Summary
Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. Ensures coordination of patient care activities and maintains standards of practice within organizational policies. PRN night shift responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care across units as assigned, under licensed scope, with required certifications as specified by unit (ACLS/PALS/NRP, BLS, and specialty certifications). Works to support exceptional patient outcomes and participates in professional development and accountability within the care team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification required
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting for PRN positions
- ACLS/PALS/NRP/other specialty certifications as listed by unit addenda per hospital requirements
