Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle while maintaining organizational standards of practice. Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality delivery. Adhere to policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. Maintain a current Georgia RN license and BLS certification. Complete specialty-specific certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP within 180 days depending on unit assignment. Requires one year of hospital nursing experience for PRN roles.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nursing program
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS certification
- ACLS Certification
- CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate)
- ACLS and PALS Certification
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification
- PALS Certification
- PreOp/PACU/ENDO/CSU ACLS
- Labor and Delivery-ACLS Certification
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program
- NAT (Newborn Admission Team)
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Advanced certification in field of specialty
- Nurse Residents or nurses new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 6 months of start date
- Experienced Emergency Department nurses
- Mother/Baby- NRP
- NICU- NRP
- Nursery- NRP
