RN- Med Surg Part Time Nights

Job Summary
Conduct direct nursing care in the Med-Surg unit using the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Collect assessment data, determine nursing diagnoses, and educate patients and families on health promotion and comfort measures. Collaborate with the inter-professional team to set goals and provide culturally sensitive, compassionate care while serving as a mentor to colleagues and students. Perform point-of-care testing as needed and maintain a state of alertness for patient safety. Work 12-hour night shifts every third weekend in a new 13-bed facility with a 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Education equivalency for licensing
