RN- Med Surg Part Time Nights

Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Med-Surg department using the nursing process to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Collect assessment data, determine nursing diagnoses, and establish effective relationships with patients and families to facilitate unique care plans. Educate patients on health promotion and foster a healthy work environment by serving as a mentor to colleagues and students. Coordinate with the inter-professional team and utilize evidence-based practice to ensure care aligns with department protocols. Perform point of care testing and work in a constant state of alertness. Night shift with 18 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Education equivalency for licensing
