Job Summary
The Registered Nurse coordinates care for assigned patients on a shift in the Med/Surg Ortho unit, providing direction to team members, applying evidence-based nursing processes, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve clinical outcomes. Role requires an ADN (BSN preferred with progression to BSN), RN licensure, CPR certification, and at least six months of nursing experience; shift is a 12-hour night schedule (7p-7:30a) on a 36-hour work week, with competitive pay and benefits at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; applicants with ADN will be considered and must matriculate into BSN program
- RN - Registered Nurse (Upon Hire)
- CPR - Basic CPR required
- Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience required
