Job Summary
Perform routine physical and psychosocial assessments, formulate individualized care plans, and adapt educational programs for patients and families. Make independent clinical decisions, ensure efficient care delivery, and actively advocate for patient rights while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team. Requires one year of acute care hospital experience, a California RN license, and Chemo therapy Biotherapy Certification. Mercy Medical Center Redding serves as a Level II trauma center and the only Joint Commission-certified Advanced Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center north of Sacramento, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year recent acute care hospital experience and/or previous nursing practice experience
- California RN license
- Chemo therapy Biotherapy Certification
- BLS certification through a recognized AHA training organization
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Oncology Nursing (OCN) certification
