Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise care by other professionals while assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Assess and plan for the educational needs of patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team. Start in Med-Surg and cross-train to Obstetrics and the Emergency Room, with opportunities to advance to nursing supervisor or charge nurse. Full-time 72-hour schedule includes 12-hour rotation shifts, evening, and night premiums. Earn a $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance for eligible external candidates. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing or higher
- Current Minnesota RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS education completed within 6 months of hire
- NRP education completed within 1 year of hire
- Completes trauma education as set for Level 4 trauma criteria within 1 year of hire
- Verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients/families, and community resources
