Job Summary
RN Med Surg Nights: A Registered Nurse providing patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating and delivering high-quality care across multiple units and specialties. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, administering prescribed medications, collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, responding to emergencies (CPR/code teams), educating patients and families, adhering to infection control, operating and monitoring clinical equipment (IV pumps, monitors, ventilators), and participating in audits and performance improvements. Requires strong nursing knowledge, effective communication, and adherence to safety standards; licensure as an RN with state (or compact) licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred depending on unit. Opportunity spans multiple RN specialties including Critical Care, OR, Endoscopy, NICU, Oncology, Orthopedics, PACU, Telemetry, Dialysis, and Cath Lab with 0-2 years of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- RN - State Licensure/Compact Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
