Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for adult medical patients on Med Surg 5E, maintaining professional accountability and coordinating care with other departments. Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patients with conditions such as pneumonia, cellulitis, and respiratory infections while ensuring confidentiality. Work the night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, full-time, with a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 for experienced nurses or $5,000 for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Previous hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
