Job Summary
RN Med/Surg Night Shift provides professional nursing care for inpatients in a medical-surgical unit, applying the nursing process, independent judgment, and evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include modifying care plans based on data, delegating according to scope, coordinating with interprofessional teams, educating patients and families, and contributing to quality improvement. Requires current RN license (state-specific or multi-state via eNLC), BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Scheduling includes 36 hours per week on the Night shift. Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- One (1) year of nursing experience
