RN MED SURG NIGHT SHIFT

Provide professional nursing care to medical/surgical patients by assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care plans. Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments while monitoring physical parameters and responding appropriately to emergency situations. Perform hourly rounding, conduct effective hand-off communication, and participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Maintain accurate real-time documentation, complete departmental forms, and ensure a clean, safe environment adhering to standard precautions. Night shift is staffed with three RNs and one LNA, with RNs supervising LPNs and LNAs. The unit maintains a 1:5 to 1:6 patient-to-nurse ratio. This role supports the organization's commitment to patient safety and service excellence in a collaborative medical/surgical setting.
