Job Summary
Deliver direct nursing care in Med Surg - Neuro units by systematically evaluating patient quality of life, establishing advocacy relationships, and implementing evidence-based plans of care. Collect assessment data, determine nursing diagnoses, and coordinate with the interprofessional team to set goals and evaluate outcomes. Educate patients and families on health promotion measures while fostering a supportive environment through mentorship. Perform point of care testing as assigned and maintain constant alertness during day shifts. Requires one year of RN experience, BLS certification, and state licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- One year registered nurse experience
