Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered Med Surg nursing care as part of a collaborative care team. Assess patients on admission and during shifts, perform procedures and administer medications with timely documentation, respond promptly to patient needs, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, medications, potential side effects, and follow-up measures to ensure understanding.
Required Qualifications
- APRN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, or RN Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of employment start date
