Job Summary
Own the nursing process from assessment through evaluation to deliver personalized, evidence-based care while building meaningful connections with patients and families. Lead performance improvement projects, research initiatives, and shared governance efforts to drive top-notch outcomes and enhance patient safety. Mentor fellow nurses and guide interdisciplinary teammates through ongoing education and competency assessments. Plan proactively across the full patient care journey and help shape protocols that reduce readmissions. Ensure the efficient use of time, people, and resources while applying evidence-based practices to decisions impacting care tools and systems. Maintain a safe, respectful environment where teamwork thrives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school, Preferred
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- National Certification in your specialty, Preferred
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems, Preferred
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure - you know how to manage fast-paced situations and clinical emergencies like a pro
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making
