Job Summary
RN Med Surg - Fulltime - Days on a WEST Float Team across Wellstar Spaulding, Sylvan Grove, and West GA. Responsibilities include owning the nursing process from assessment through evaluation to deliver personalized, evidence-based care; building meaningful connections with patients and families; driving top-notch outcomes; contributing to a safe, collaborative, and learning-oriented environment; participating in performance improvement, research opportunities, and shared governance; ongoing professional development and mentorship; leading in evidence-based practice and care planning; proactive resource management across the patient care journey; and shaping protocols to enhance patient experiences and reduce readmissions. Requires RN license and BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred; 2+ years Med Surg experience; familiarity with Epic and 3M systems preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Required)
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact) - Required
- BLS from AHA - Required
- ACLS - Required
- National Certification in your specialty - Preferred
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience - Required
- Experience with computer data entry - Required
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems - Preferred
- BSN from an accredited school - Preferred
- Nursing professional development and team mentorship - Preferred
