Job Summary
Own the nursing process from assessment through evaluation to deliver personalized, evidence-based care for patients across Wellstar Spaulding, Sylvan Grove, and West GA. Build meaningful connections with families while driving top-notch outcomes and participating in performance improvement projects and shared governance. Mentor fellow nurses, guide interdisciplinary teammates, and lead the charge in applying evidence-based practices to impact patient care tools. Plan proactively across the full patient care journey, help shape protocols to reduce readmissions, and ensure the efficient use of resources. Requires a BSN, RN license, BLS, ACLS, and 2+ years of Med Surg experience; BLS, ACLS, and Epic/3M familiarity are required or preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure - you know how to manage fast-paced situations and clinical emergencies like a pro
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- National Certification in your specialty
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems
