Job Summary
Assess patients and families to deliver personalized, evidence-based care while building meaningful connections that honor their values. Lead performance improvement projects, research initiatives, and shared governance efforts to drive top-notch clinical outcomes. Mentor interdisciplinary teammates through ongoing education, competency assessments, and coaching. Shape care protocols, manage resources efficiently, and apply data-driven insights to reduce readmissions and enhance patient safety. Requires BSN, RN license, ACLS, and 2+ years of Med Surg experience; BLS, Epic, and 3M familiarity preferred. Join Wellstar's W.E.S.T. Float Team at MCG Augusta for a full-time day shift.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based decision-making
Desired Qualifications
- BSN from an accredited school
- National Certification in your specialty
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems
