Job Summary
Assess patients and families through the full nursing process to deliver personalized, evidence-based care while building meaningful connections. Drive top-notch outcomes by applying current best practices and participating in performance improvement projects, research, and shared governance initiatives. Mentor colleagues and guide interdisciplinary teammates through ongoing education and competency assessments. Plan proactively across the patient care journey to shape protocols that reduce readmissions and ensure efficient resource use. Manage fast-paced clinical environments with strong critical thinking and time management skills. Requires BSN preferred, 2+ years Med Surg experience, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN from an accredited school
- RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS
- National Certification in your specialty
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
- Experience with computer data entry
- Familiarity with Epic and 3M systems
- A+ interpersonal and communication chops
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and basic tech tools
- Calm under pressure
- Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based
