Job Summary
Provide patient care on the 30-bed Med/Surg unit using the nursing process, managing GI, Oncology, Post-Op, COPD, UTI, and wound care cases with a 1:6 RN-to-patient ratio. Coordinate care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, supported by Patient Care Associates. Earn a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses or $15,000 for new graduates, plus stay premium pay and weekend differentials.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
- Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)
- Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed
