Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients on a 30-bed Med/Surg unit covering GI, Oncology, Post-Op, and complex wound care cases. Maintain professional accountability for care effectiveness and coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient confidentiality. Work full-time days shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with a 1:6 RN-to-patient ratio, supported by Patient Care Associates. Earn a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced nurses or $15,000 for new graduates, plus stay premium pay and tuition reimbursement. Maintain active RN licensure and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire)
- Any unit-specific certifications (with timeline for completion)
- Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Prolonged standing/walking throughout shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed
