Job Summary
Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit while delegating interventions that can be performed by others. Supervise as appropriate, assist in maintaining a safe environment for effective nursing care, provide education to patients and families, and collaborate with other health professionals in planning and managing health care. Skills in dysrhythmia, IV insertion/care, wound care, PICC lines, and foley care may be required. Current Maine RN license, Basic Life Support certification, and CPI training are required. Full-time days schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license
- Basic Life Support certification
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- IV insertion/care
- wound care
- PICC lines
- foley care
Desired Qualifications
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or obtained before completion of orientation
