Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervising assigned staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote health and safety. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers while providing learning opportunities and direct health information. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and delegates duties to team members as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and CPR/BLS certification. Full-time day shift position at Adventist Health Selma.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
