Job Summary
Provide patient care for adult medical patients using the nursing process, maintaining professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinate patient care with other departments while ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Manage diverse medical needs including small bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, and pneumonia. Maintain current RN licensure in Missouri, hold BLS certification, and possess physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand throughout shifts. Work full-time nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate Degree in Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Nursing Diploma
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri
- Compact licensure in accordance with state board of nursing regulations
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
- Completion of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
